Making the decision on where to place your child for their care and education needs is the most important decision you as a parent/caregiver will make. Here is a few of our most commonly asked questions and answers for you to review. Please come talk to us about any questions you may have as we are here to help you feel confident in your decision to entrust us with your child(ren).
1. What training do your teachers have?
All Learning Lodge Employees go through a background check, are CPR and First Aid Certified, and trained annually in SUIDS (Sudden Unexpected Infants Death Syndrome - formerly SIDS) and AHT (Abusive Head Trauma formerly Shaken Baby Syndrome).
2. Are you a licensed childcare center?
Yes, our license # is 1050754. We follow all standards that are outlined by Minnesota DHS. You can review all of their guidelines here.

Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for all of our children. If your child is a school age child we provide them with an afternoon snack when they return from school. If you would like to view a sample menu please Click to View.
4. What happens if my child is sick? When can they come back to the center.
If your child is running a fever they are not allowed in the center as they are contagious at that time. We request that your child is fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to care.
5. When is my tuition due?
Tuition is due on the Friday before the week of care given. There is a late fee of $15 for tuition that is received after 12pm noon on Monday.
6. Do I have to pay for tuition if my child is absent from the center or the center is closed due to a Holiday?
Refunds or credits will not be given for absences, illness, or holidays. If a family leaves The Learning Lodge, and unpaid tuition remains, we may exercise our right to pursue collection with an outside agency.
7. Do you offer full-time or part-time care?
We are exclusively a full-time child care center. Our students are with us from Monday through Friday, year round.
